Taking A Chance Poem by Lola Romero

Taking A Chance

our pasts have been the same

our pasts have no refrain

our pasts and now our futures will most likely re-arrange

you have no one else to blame

next time u feel a need to breed

just hop upon that train

take a chance, make the dive

and i garantee you will survive

and all the joys that love can bring

u soon shall be remembering

but if you hide inside your shell

you wont ever know a joy to tell

and deep inside his spirit fell

from lack of courage, nothing is well

see that girl yonder there?

with the lovely brunnette hair so fair?

shes looking at you, yes its true

so now the time is up to you

go over, talk to her, she wont be mean

but wait until you aren't green
