The lady retied the

Grabbed Maria's
Hand and went
After Paulo.

Scream? ! ' Maria panicked
'The reason I wear this
Clothe is because my
Eyes wore torn out
By the God of Ending.
There! ' The lady pointed
Up the path.
Paulo lay on the
Ground clutching his
Knee.
'Paulo! ' Maria called.
'Maria! Get away form
Her! '
In that instant
A cougar
Came down the
Path to Paulo.
He scuttled away
But the lion
Pounced.
'PAULO! '
