Tales Of Sugarcandy



The affliction great and pain intense
But why should I grumble or complain?
Was it not told in the sweet tales?
That those who endurepain shall reign?
The penurious wallows in abject poverty
And the rich getting richer in dubious ways
But there it is! in the tales of sugarcandy
That the fishy rich shall not in paradise lay
The dubious haves continue to have
And the hopeful havenots keep hoping
Hoping for the Lord's day when they'll have
And be rewarded greatly accordingly
The tales we were taught, made to know
