Tame Tiger Poem by Ali Rahimi

Tame Tiger

Never go to bed tired and sad,
Go there strong, caring and somehow mad,
Like a tiger, a falcon, that’s the fad,
Eat honey, milk and cheese for breakfast,
Rest assured everything is excellent,
Talk highly about your love, she’ll be happily, radiant,
Agree with her complaints, be patient,
Even if she calls you a monster or frightening agent,
Tell her: you are the most beautiful woman on earth!
This makes you a superstar in her eyes,
Be resilient, flexible and a bit enigmatic,
Like a labyrinth, that’s what she vies,
Not tough and harsh, never,
Never stubborn, never rigid like a mule,
Never like a glass nor like a concrete,
Be a tame tiger!
Tame Tiger
Tame Tiger
Tame tiger,
We all have our flaws and weaknesses,
Vulnerabilities, Achilles heels and flimsiness,
Be anti-perfectionist, sometimes funny, even foolish,
Say jokes, make your love laugh like a hyena,
Smart people do stupid things, that’s a certitude,
Influenced by their own talent, aptitude,
That’s an appealing, charming attitude,
Never leave used tissues and dirty socks around the house,
This is fatal, nerve breaking for your love,
Love can’t be made out of mess and dirt,
Turn all tragedies into comedies, like a purple shirt,
Just sit back and relax, hold her in your arms like a borderless geography,
Do everything in harmony, like choreography,
Dancers fantastic in synchrony, vigor and symmetry,
See things irritating as hilarious, things sad as funny,
Last one, my brother!
Beware! No interference from people around,
That always abounds,
Women are ticking bombs,
A minefield,
Walking on emotional female tightropes,
Hearken! You fall and die a tragic death,
The fall of a tragic, pathetic hero, brother!
This is toxic, poisonous, stay away!
Tame Tiger, Tame Tiger ………….
