Tangible Poem by William WJS

Tangible

Rating: 5.0

It is something that cannot be attained possessively
Said to be concrete, yet it may become brittle and crack apart
So much is put into it but assurance is only in the mind of the beholder
It is fortress mutually established yet can easily be destroyed by one

We are born ignorant to the aspects of its true nature
Good and bad it is something that has to be experienced first hand to understand
Life is surely possible, if it is left vestal to its grasp
However once known, you are forever subject to its control

Although it seemingly brings purpose to our lives, its not even tangible once known
Something so intrusive on our lives, not even physically visible to the whom it is beheld
Controlling and intoxicating, once known, we are ever at its whim.
