Tares (2)

What child of God is cold or hot?
Who in the world is free?
Who in Christ is a tare or not?
The Lord alone can see

Pure! God’s house will one day rise
Through worship love & prayer
And only He perfect and wise
Can see who life will share

It’s in the world that tares are found
Who bow to stone and wood
Who build their church on miry ground
Not seeped in Jesus’ blood

Without The Christ, is no one clean!
No matter how they try
Deceivers, by the Lord are seen
And as a tare they’ll die

Religious houses stand so tall
But wisdom proves God right
For soon He’ll bring about the fall
Of all devoid of Light

He sees each evil web they weave
He sees the filth they’ve stored
Within the world, such tares deceive
But not of Christ the Lord

Of tares the prophets had to speak
Those to dumb idols turn
Who still refuse God’s Son to seek
Who soon in hell will burn

Their mocking ways one day will cease
Their cries throughout the land
So let the tare yet grow in peace
Just as The Lord, has planned…
