I know you, watching you from afar
like how I watched the moon and the stars
My mind and heart is always at war
for my heart beats for you, near or far

I tried knocking on heaven's door
wishing I would have what I wished for
But you stayed away, my hurt was sore
Though it keeps whispering, it's you I adore

When I left Earth, I thought of you
But as I watched, I saw someone with you
That instant, I realized you are not for me
Yes, It's true we are never meant to be

I've cried my tears in heaven
Never thought its possible even
Until now and since then
I think I'll never love that way again
