Teddy Jr, . Poem by Alexander Foald

Teddy Jr, .

Do you know that soldier’s name?
Teddy Jr. they said when he came
Like the other soldiers from the town
He always seemed to be down

But nobody can put the blame on him
Everyone there can see how far they’ll be going
Before the sun sets in the border of horizon
Wonderful life was the only thing they ever known

Teddy crawls through the forest of corpses
Behind him stands the hellhound with its claws
Bullets flying from and to everywhere
As he screams out the name of his father

And they said it’s war for god’s sake
The only thing you do is shoot and shut the sh*t
The young soldier doesn’t know anything about firing
Yet the only thing he knows is how to get girls and banging

It’s been two years out in the jungle
There have been no words from the company
Too bad for a young man to take the world of eagles
They found him dead from the hole in his head
