Teeter-Totter Poem by Bill Grace

Teeter-Totter

A torn up lawn's a little thing
Especially whose greens I do not own
For private lawns may dwell in peace
Where urgent trucks make equal quest.

But given human nature and its ways
I doubt without some touch beyond
(to unbalance finite difference)
The thing will ever work at all
To allow the necessary balance
For those who'd like to play.
