Tell The World (1)

To show my child is not alone
To show my love is true
I left the glory of my throne
To dwell on earth with you

I called to you whilst on the tree
I saw you heard my cry
So much I wanted you with me
For you! I came to die

To show the world, what love is worth!
How much I have to give
Give me your life, your will on earth
So then you too can live

Tis I The Lord who’s chosen you
The Christ, who bore you sin
Power and skill I give to you
To bring the others in

Go tell the world you’re free at last
I’ve taken all your shame
Look right nor left, nor too the past
Just praise my holy name

Although your God is everywhere
At times, when in a jam
You’ll doubt and feel I’m no more there
Believe my child, I am

I’m in your room, beside your bed
I’m in your prison cell
I’m in each thought inside your head
I’m in your heart as well

I give you gifts, great talents too
My silver and my gold
Yet still when asked, my chosen few
Won’t do as they are told...
