Terrorists Poem by Catelin Barr

Terrorists

People are so worried about themselves.
They don't have time for anyone else.
They're so worried about terrorists.
Well what they don't think about is the terrorist that lives next door.
The guy that beats his wife every night.
The drug addict on the corner selling to their kids.
The CIA who are interrogating good people everyday.
The miss the ones who are actually bad.
The ones that lock their wives up and not let them see their kids.
Deep down inside she has hope and knows one day she'll get her wings.
She knows in her heart that she can fly.
But she won't.
She can't lose hope.
She knows God will always be with her.
He'll take the terrorist away.
The kids say no to addict on the corner.
They all have hope and they all say now.
Because they know God will take the terrorists away.
