You Spread word
The True word
And that you are the Messiah

Blasphemy!
The high priests yelled

You were beaten
Nearly to death
Skin peeling off your body

They nailed you to a cross,
A crucifixion they call it

You laid down your life
to wipe away our sins,
To show your love

You show your love
Forgiveness,
To even the worst of sinners

you ascended into heaven,
To guide and protect
All mankind

Thank you Lord
For showing us your love
