You endure her
because she's not real
doesn't fuss
doesn't ask
more importantly-
doesn't bother
Saying your not terrified of me
Only works for so long
That’s right-
You weren’t worried of much
The snakes could bite
As deep as the truth could ever hope to be
The bees could sting
With the quantity of poison
The world should love with
And still—
None of that
Could wipe that affectionate smile off your face
This chain of passion locks us together
Leaving us
With no hope of finding the key
Petrifies you
Just a little dropp more
Than you’ll ever let the world know
