That Girl Poem by Alley Rodriguez

I have had people tell me everything is going to be all right, you will be fine but really I just want someone to listen to me for once. I don't want to be that shy girl in the back of the room, always something on her mind, always wanting to say something and stand up for herself for once... but instead she keeps it to herself. She doesn’t tell anyone what really is going on tell it’s too late! That girl her cry herself to sleep some nights! And others just try to keep negative stuff and people out of her head. Hoping that tomorrow will be better then today hoping that maybe just maybe someone will notice that she’s not in her set in the back of the room. Or that she not in your homeroom any more because she gone and forgotten by all.....
