That's What You Get Poem by Mikey Estrada

That's What You Get

You’re not perfect, and neither am I
But I deserve better than you and I’ll tell you why.
Just be an honest person and admit you looked me in the eyes and lied
Behind me you said I’m just your B**** till the day I die.
Every time I opened my mouth you never listened
You thought you were an angel whose halo glistened.
I am sorry you thought you could do me wrong and get the better of me
But I am taking opportunity to flick you like a plea for a pathetic person you will always be.
I deserve better than you I am here to tell you we’re through
I’m sorry but it the honest truth, maybe next you won’t be so one-sided and you’ll see it through my point of view.
Karma that’s coming to you is long overdue, but once it bites you it will stick like glue.
You might learn and you might not, I can care less because moving on and by then you I will have forgot.
