That Slave Of Mine (B) Poem by Barbara Vanier

That Slave Of Mine (B)

Where did she go that slave of mine
She travels so far away
Hour after hour she goes
Chasing the sunset away

Where did she go that slave of mine
Into a new home she dwells
Laughing and singing her joyous heart
A place of new sights, sounds and smells

Where did she go that slave of mine
Loving laughter of children she hears
They hold her close and kiss her cheek
Some even dream she is mother dear

Where did she go that slave of mine
Where could it be that she roams
A new house she enters in
A new house that is my home
