In the theater of life, where emotions dance and spin,
Seven figures step forward, each draped in their sin.
Pride strides confidently, with a gleam in his eye,
His tales are of triumph, his ego reaching the sky.
He boasts of his conquests, his victories untold,
But beneath his bravado, insecurity takes hold.
Greed whispers softly, with a hunger in her gaze,
She craves for more and more, in an endless maze.
Her stories are of wealth, of treasures untold,
Yet the emptiness within her can never be consoled.
Lust saunters seductively, with a fire in his touch,
He chases after pleasure, craving it so much.
His tales are of passion, of desires unbound,
But the emptiness inside him is the only sound.
Envy lurks in the shadows, with a green-eyed glare,
She longs for what others have, consumed by despair.
Her stories are of longing, of bitterness and spite,
But her own happiness remains forever out of sight.
Gluttony feasts voraciously, with a hunger never sated,
He devours all in his path, his appetite unabated.
His tales are of indulgence, of excess and delight,
Yet the void within him grows with each bite.
Wrath rages fiercely, with a fury burning bright,
He lashes out in anger, consumed by his plight.
His stories are of vengeance, of rage unrestrained,
But the emptiness inside him leaves him drained.
Sloth slumbers lazily, with a lethargic yawn,
He shirks all responsibility, until the dawn.
His tales are of apathy, of lethargy and rest,
But the emptiness within him is his only guest.
So here they stand before you, each with their own tale,
Seven deadly sins, each destined to fail.
For in the end, it's not the sin that defines,
But the humanity within us, where true redemption shines.
