The Apple Of My Dream Poem by Jasper Abcede

The Apple Of My Dream

In the streams of the midnight
I shed my thoughts of thee
Like the leaves that soft alight
Float the river to the sea.

In my winding dreams I found thee
Thou and thine taunting eyes
Made me hungry, made me thirsty
As I chase thee through the night.

I long to touch thy tender lips
As red as apples be
Then speak to thee my truly love
And take a bite in thee.
