The Bath Poem by Hazel Connelly

The Bath

I saw this bath on legs
Sexy, slender and sleek
With a tap in the centre
White with silvery chrome feet.

I just stood there staring
Enthralled by the shining feet
I'd fill it up with bubbles
And stay in there all week.

It's just an empty bathtub
Oblong, cold and white
It transforms when you go near
It's there to excite.

It's laid on mosaic tiles
So peaceful and serene
It's like a moment in paradise
Can you picture the scene?

Turn the tap, run the water
Fill the bath with bubbles
Every splash making a beat
Erasing all your troubles.

Clean, and bubbles rinsed
Aroma lingering in the air
Oh I love a bath on legs
Sexy, with a bit of flair.
