The Holy Bible, a sacred book
Filled with tales, wisdom and a hopeful look
A light in the darkness, a guide for the lost
A source of strength, no matter the cost
In its pages, parables reside
Stories of love, faith and the divine
Lessons hidden within each line
To guide us on our journey, through all of time
Proverbial warnings, ring loud and clear
For those who have ears, let them hear
The consequences of greed and pride
And the rewards of walking by God's side
With every promise, comes a choice
To follow the path of righteousness or vice
For in this book, both good and bad
Are cautionary tales, for us to add
'Train up a child in the way they should go'
A scriptural instruction, for all to know
To nurture and guide, the young and new
And in their footsteps, God will renew
The Beginning and End, a creative epicenter
A journey through time, a divine mentor
From Genesis to Revelation
Each book, a new revelation
The birth of creation, and the fall of man
The story of Noah, and God's master plan
The life of Jesus, and his redeeming grace
And the promise of salvation, in every place
The Holy Bible, a timeless treasure
A source of faith, beyond measure
With every word, a symphony
A love letter from God, for you and me.
