The Best Picture! Poem by Miriana Serle

The Best Picture!

The pictures taken,
The memories saved.
The pictures still unframed,
The memories split.
To upgrading sunlight,
To colour and fact.
To smiles no more,
To cuddles now smored.
To heartfelt captures,
And times that felt great.
To laughing and giggling,
And small things we shared.
'Till the thunderstorms smothered,
And the rainstorms all gone.
To gifts and sweet gestures,
To flowers and food.
When we were just new,
And when presence was faint.
To being together whenever,
To laughing at all the gooby.
And making things work,
Organism is great.
'Till the last rose petal fell,
And the smiles turned into frowns.
And just when we sat there and thought,
I dont need two more things because me I am,
I am fine.
But everybody should know,
Pictures sometimes fade.
And not always but,
Sometimes that's just for the best.
