The Bitter Truth Hidden Poem by Theresa Short

The Bitter Truth Hidden

Music is my only hope,
the only way I can cope,
With all your lies,
and how you make me cry,
only on the inside,
oh my emotions run and hide.
You dont see what is underneath,
You dont hear until there is a different excuse to cry,
I dont like to be this way and just lie,
All I want is love, not annoyance, not controlling nothing like that,
Loved for my choices, my opinions, every flaw, but i never can ahve that,
Oh well im just a door mat..
Walk your way through life over me..thats fine,
But I draw the last line,
Im not afraid.
