The Black Dog Jumped Poem by Steven S. Walsky

The Black Dog Jumped

Rating: 5.0

The black dog jumped and tossed
its head,
she leaps unannounced, bounces upon the bed.
Tail a-waggen, tail swish, swish,
take me for a walk her eyes do
plead.
Tail a waggen, swish, swish,
happy to see me,
then it's, 'put food in my dish.'
