The Black Hole Poem by Tango

The Black Hole

The Black Hole.
There is something now,
that until the 20th century,
the likes of which the world,
had never seen before.

It is a huge black hole,
called the internet,
and if you allow it,
it will suck up all your cash,
and leave you without a bean.

On it people sit like birds of prey,
they promise the earth,
and anything you so desire,
as long as you are able to pay.

So trustingly a lot of gullible fools,
send off their hard earned cash,
and 99 times out of 100,
what do they get in return.

Sometimes silence or more demands
until dry they are bled,
then they hang their heads in shame,
and retreat to seek solace,
in silence in their bed.
