The Blue Kingdom Poem by Asolua Fifita

The Blue Kingdom

Different Flags
flying in the wind
Proudly representing
Lands, countries, nations
Of people
Near and far

They all stand incomplete
Because it's missing
An important detail
The flag
Of the blue kingdom

Pray tell
Where is this blue kingdom?
Mysteries and epic tales
Surrounds it's existence
Is it real or mere myth?

Then it's natives answered in unison
The kingdom -it is very real
But the journey there
Is not for the
Weak hearted

For
We rise with the dawn
Gather the dews on our hands
Chase the sun
From morning til sunset
Bend the wind
Harvest the rain on our backs
and we also
Create magic on the land

We enjoy the sweats
Smile through tears
Learn through mistakes
And give more than we take

But still that is no
Secrets and novelty
to the
Blue Kingdom

Respect is treasured
Prayers are a measure
Of faith and spiritual growth
Traits of the blue kingdom

But wait…
There's more
Tales of unknown comrades
Of brotherhood
Of humility
Of an unbreakable bond
Between the Blue Kingdom
And its people

Leaving is not final
Because you
Are always drawn back
To its magic and mysteries
To help the current people
Seek the pathways
To a future in a world
Full of challenges

Still
The greatest twist
In the tale of the Blue Kingdom is-
It's ruler is
A Hermit crab
