The Blue Wave Poem by Asma Khan

The Blue Wave

There lives a day in me silent and calm
tossing hopes on sun's burning palm

what if tomorrow starts without me?
bring all caged birds to set free

I promised you of those colorful days
when sun shines all your shadowy ways

collect up all joys and nestle them hard
for time's knights are on your guard

swallow the rising sun in your eyes
as memories are nothing but to memorize

turn over your heels to the sliding skies
for luck favors only who tries

trusting me was not your mistake
but your heart was ought to break
