The Braveheart Sparrow Poem by Sujan Azad Parikh

The sparrow was busy all the time
Since she had to feed 3 chicks
She loved them very much
And always kept her eye on them
One day an eagle sighted the little birds
Chirping in their nest
She made a dive for them
But mommy was there to protect
She was small, the eagle was huge
But such was tenacity
That the big bird found it tough
She kept on fighting to save her chicks
And at last the eagle retreated
Which shows courage is more than anything
