The Brink Of War Poem by Rajendra Prasad Meena Jaipur India

The Brink Of War

The world now stands on fragile ground,
Where roaring jets and fear resound.
The sky once calm, so wide and blue,
Now trembles under threats anew.

A spark of pride, a leader's rage,
Can turn the earth to war's dark stage.
For when the throne exalts the "I",
A thousand innocent hearts must cry.

No border's line, no flag of might,
Is worth a single human life.
No victory bright in history's page
Can justify a mother's rage.

The markets fall, the fields grow bare,
When bombs replace the farmer's care.
The wealth of nations fades to dust
When power chooses war unjust.

O rulers of this fragile sphere,
Listen to humanity's fear.
The strength of man is not the sword—
But wisdom guiding every word.

Build laws stronger than your pride,
Let justice stand as nations' guide.
Let councils speak before the gun,
For peace is how true wars are won.

Remember this before you fight—
Our earth is small, our future slight.
If flames of war consume the sky,
No throne will stand, no crown will fly.

So choose the path where mercy grows,
Where dialogue defeats our foes.
For mankind's greatest victory
Is saving its own destiny.
