I don't believe that it is ever Gods' plan to cause anyone grief. Loss and grief are a part of life. When someone dies I believe Gods sits beside us and cries with us.mEven when Jesus and his friends lost Lazarus, He wept. As we work through grief sometimes we can bring something good out of it even if it is only the acknowledgement that life is precious. We need to live it while we're here.We all die.
