The Chilli Tree Poem by RADHASHYAM JANA

The Chilli Tree

I am a Chilli tree
My pain don't understand society
That man is attaching with soil to me
Self-interest of man to give chilli
What have blame to that mine
When was attached to soil fine
What so that gladly
Now has been pungent! Why was given blame me
I have stranded in lab of the earth mother
The tree is high only two hand dear!
When bought from market
Listen why blamed
Yet I am a Chilli tree that
Give chilli in festival, So that bad
Which be pungent by chilli of the people
And can not eat much food simple!
So that I became good to owner
But to guest big rumour!
Then what have blame to that mine?
To born self-interest you fine
Very hot in the Summer season
I am a bad born
Come chilli, self-interest of man
Who is attaching with soil, so blame
Yet I am a chilli tree
My pain don't understand society
Man is attaching with soil to a little chilli tree
Self-interest of human society
So I born chilli tree by tree
I am chilli painted in society!
