The Cliff Called Love Poem by madison roberts

The Cliff Called Love

Slowing falling over the edge of a
Deep,
Dark
Cliff.
With nothing to hold onto.
That is how she felt when he said it.
Said the three words that changed everything.
"I love you"
Was all she could think.
She leaned closer to the edge.
"I love you"
Was all she could hear
She put one foot on the very edge.
"I love you"
Was all she could understand.
She started to lean forward, but all she saw was darkness.
She started to panic,
But it was too late.
"I love you too"
Was all she could say.
Then she fell and realized there was no going back.
