The Clown In My Dreamzzzz Poem by WIN VENTURA

The Clown In My Dreamzzzz

I hate that smile, I hate those eyes,
That painted face beneath the lights.
Those crooked teeth, that frozen grin,
Like something evil's hiding in.

I close my eyes, but there he stands,
I try to run, he follows fast.
Every corner, every door,
That creepy smile comes back for more.

There's a clown in my dreams tonight,
With a mouth full of teeth and a dead-eyed stare.
He smiles at me beneath the light,
And I can feel him standing there.
I don't want him in my head,
I don't want him near my bed.
But every time I fall asleep,
That smiling clown comes after me.

Red nose shining in the dark,
Painted face without a heart.
White skin, black eyes, lips so red,
That twisted laughter fills my head.
His shoes go step, step, step,
Closer every time I check.
I turn around—there's no one there,
Then feel his breath against the air.

Don't smile at me...!
Don't come near...!
Don't follow me...!
Get out of here...!
But then I hear that little laugh...heheheehehahaha
And see those teeth...eeeeww

There's a clown in my dreams tonight,
With that terrible smile beneath the light.
I scream, I run, I try to wake,
But every road is his to take.
I don't want him in my head,
I don't want him near my bed.
But when the darkness falls asleep...
That clown comes looking for me.
It Smiles.... Heeeeehe
