The Colour Of Crush - Poem by Michael Reston

Your intimate wish -
Would that I hadn't seen
Oh the colour of crush -
As a veil
As a dream

Far from being too brilliant
Not from being too dull
How the colour of crush
Colors messages full

Had I knowledge of love
It might even be decent
But in learning of you
My degree has come recent

By my lips only leave
By my lungs only breathe
See the fair
See the farm
Only see what you weave
