The Conservative Movement Poem by Thaddeus McDougleberry

The Conservative Movement

Glossy publications and swank offices
Solicitations for donations
Celebrating markets and materialism
And virtues unbelieved in

Gesturing at a God that you don't fear
Will there be retribution for what you've allowed to occur?

What matters?
You couldn't begin to say
No thought to the eternal
And what it really means

Conserving nothing
You'll disappear on the wind
