The Constant Light (Sonnet) Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

The Constant Light (Sonnet)

Within the silent garden of my heart,
Your love descends like soft and morning dew;
No earthly storm can tear our souls apart,
Since every breath begins and ends with you.

The weary sun may yield to winter's bite,
And summer's pride may wither in the dust,
But you remain my steady, guiding light,
The sacred anchor of my spirit's trust.

Though ruthless time may etch its weary line,
And steal the glow from your untroubled brow,
It cannot touch this flame that is divine,
Or dim the glory of our silent vow.

While fleeting shadows lead the world astray,
Your light remains to hold eternal sway.
