There they are
Roped in black gowns and beeps
Worshiping, honouring and praying
To a judge they bow
To Men and women in black and white
God said ‘I AM A JEALOUS GOD’
Yet you worship a man roped in red
Is this testimony that lawyers are atheist?
Magistrates and judges
Are men viewed with envy
Yet they forget the biblical scripture
DONOT JUDGE
The court room is a marvel to watch
A discipline of the highest order
Lawyers parading like angels to save lives
To the much disgust and pleasure of the gallery
How I wonder if God’s court is as emotional as this
In the court room, God is invited yet disregarded
His books never used, yet to oath they swear
His servants never quoted
His children always judged
Constitution is always the code
It all happens in the court room
