The Dance Poem by CHRISTIAN Paiva

The Dance

Somewhere upon the seashore
The waves dance with the wind
In rhythm with the tide
They rise and fall again

They glide across the shoreline
And leap between the rocks
Engaging in a tango
A salsa or foxtrot

And though the wind may falter
At times to catch her breath
Their dance shall still continue
Far beyond your death
