The Darkest Of My Dreams - Poem by Jackie Trujillo
The slightest noise outside my window
sends chills down my back,
and shakes me to my core
The idea that you could come back into my life,
and raise her pretending that you cared all along
it's starting to drive me to insanity.
You will not tempt me to be your ally
The very boy in no way a man
who was strangling her life
before her first breath.
Shame on you,
think about what you have done
you are evil to the core
lie, cheat, steal,
HELL is all that awaits you.
