The Dawn Is Upon Us Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

as a slipper danced
across the creaking floor
crimson cup tipped over
a shadow flew out the window
thud of a brush
resounds from the sink
a cow-bell has been struck;
the dawn is upon us
