The Day Of Her Birth Poem by Scott Barrymore

The Day Of Her Birth

One day, God spoke to the world.
A celebratory decree he gave.
An angel daughter he would send.
A loving beauty, to the world she would save.

The strength of her being quickly unfurled.
Becoming a magical romance, her love for the world.
A spring of love, flows from her heart.
As she engages her loving martial art.

This rose given to a troubled world.
Turns sand grain wounds into pearls.
She changes the course of the river of life.
Her graceful subtle being, ending all strife.

Happy birthday my love.
And may I say this,
Without your loving sustenance,
There would be only emptiness, a bottomless abyss.
