The Day We Found Out Poem by Nicholas Wayde Turner 24

The Day We Found Out

I remember that day.
Some people say it’s a little cray.
Our Nana told us the truth.
But she did not have any proof.
She asked us to meet her in the kitchen.
Wow! Did she ever break a tradition?
The two of us sat side by side.
And our eye’s got really wide.
The truth was finally out.
Neither of us were about to pout.
Nana said that Lacey and I are twins.
Man, did we have a lot of pins.
There were no words to describe how we felt.
Lets go get a matching belt.
