The Divergence Poem by JD Pendleton

The Divergence

Hello again my brother
Your glazed eyes
no longer recognize

I was thrust into the forsaken
Alone
Where all is uncertain

I suffer mightily
learn new ways
new joy

A glow within me
warming me in a new way
carrying me beyond
to lands unimaginable

I suffer mightily
learn new ways
new joy

The universe, vast beyond my senses
We are not the same
was this intended?

It is your world now that is forsaken
since you cast me out
