The Economy Poem by Vicente Añonuevo

The Economy

The cacophony of poverty
And the bladed tensile of crisis
The surging of unemployment
The rapacious of the elite class to the wealth of our nations
Brings our economy to the moribund
The ceaseless increase in the price of basic commodities
The unprecedented oil price hike
And the up soaring price of rice
It makes the life of the people miserable.
The slumbers of the people on the extended value-added tax
Reverberates to the innermost of the earth
So that, the outcry of the toiling masses may be heard
The downward sloping of the possibilities curve
Makes the economy stunted.
The inefficient of the optimal population to create goods and services
The post hoc, ergo propter hoc fallacy of the economist
And the unequal marginal cost and marginal revenue
Makes the economy unreliable and insufficient.
