I fell out of love tonight
And never felt more relieved
No more lies and no more fights
No more being deceived

I realize now albeit late
He wasn’t right for me
I was in love only with
Who I hoped that he would be

Viewing him through glasses
Which were of the color rose
Didn’t see things very clearly
Though right underneath my nose

Thank you God for answering
My prayer to show me a sign
Begging even if that answer hurts
I long for Your reply

So I put all my faith in You
Knowing that you'd show me in due time
You have revealed to me the truth
Now I can leave that life behind

I know there’s something waiting
Way much better ‘round the bend
But as for now I’m so grateful
That it’s over it’s THE END!
