Life is like a day's rising sun
where the soul shines bright with every earthly turn
infancy's the beginning like the soft, soothing dawn
very pleasant is childhood, like an ever comforting morn
a life of all warmth, a time when every heart's won
a period of happiness- so all joys and fun to reckon
then comes adolescence, like a smiling, soaring sun
when dreams a million or more are so delicately spun
within the sharp mind when eyes stop at every beauty's turn
youth's forever vibrant and dashing like the dazzling noon
with daring strength, he can even move a mountain soon
so he never shies to elope, marry and to be very passion prone
at afternoon, sans vigor he stoops, still his teary eyes dream for his son
he feebly coughs in the evening, so sleeps the night for the new sun.
