The End Of The Road Poem by Sibongiseni sbohnga

The End Of The Road

I never thought the day will come,
From the far I the foot steps,
Coming slowly closer to my door stoop,

I never thought this will be the end,
The end we all never expected...
Yes so sudden if came and blow me off,

I never thought one day this will come,
Yes here it is, From the bed im ready to jump,
On a bed the note is left, Please read but not cry.

You played me like a soccer ball,
I danced non-stop for your silent guitar,
Rejoice for you have won, You won a Golden medal,
Which is my soul....

You said you love me, but you lied.
I trusted in your lies because I was blind.
It is true when they say love is blind.

I loved to the fullest, but you lied,
To you I gave my all, yes I gave the little I had,
You drained me to dust, You bloody lair.

Tell the world that youve won,
You won a golden medal which is my precious soul,
But on your hnds my blood will be asked.

I never thought in your lies Ill die,
Under your name my Blood will flow like floods,
Today Im leaving my loving family...

From the dust I was made...
Through the womb i was born...
I lived a happiest life until I met you

My family, My fellow chumps do not cry,
Hold each others hand and mourn for me,
Share the memories I left behind.

From the dust I was taken,
From the womb I escaped...
Now to the dust I return.

My journey is about to start...
From the bed I jump, Please read the note i left,
I hope to meet you again.
