The Eyes Have It
Because words carry little weight.
Words can lie and deceive
both the speaker and the hearer.
Words - ephemeral utterances -
slip glibly off the tongue to be lost in the clamour.
The truth must shine from your eyes
radiating insatiable desire.
That works.
