The Facade Poem by Tanner Geldart

The Facade

Can you see through this facade
The real me down at heart
I don't let the happiness out cuz then the pain gets in
Then it's another cut to bleed it out
To release the sadness
But why not end it all not another scream or shout
So take me away unless you can ease the pain
My happiness is in your hands
You're the golden rain in my depression
So just knock and the door will open
Letting you and anything else that comes in
But can you see the real me
Can you see the smile on my heart
