The Facts Of Love Poem by Ryan Lee Morris

The Facts Of Love

Everything is only a theory,
Until it has been proven.
So what is love?
Is it found, or is it grown?

Find a partner, pick them up,
Sounds to me like lady luck.
Love can only become fact,
Once it has been proven.

I would die for love.
I would die to my ways.
True love submits to another.
True lust makes another submit.

You can only find it,
Once you become it.
Love is not what we can get.
Love is only what we can give.

You cannot give what you don't have.
Love is not merely chance.
Love is not luck.
For luck will run out.

Love has no end.
It is simply a beginning that grows forever.
