The Final Prayer Poem by Kaleb Gonzalez

The Final Prayer

In times of great need, is the only time i call,
so that you may lift me before i fall,
give me wings so that i may float above broken glass,
make me fast so i wont end up last,
guard my heart from the wicked and demented,
all the bad in the world, please help me repent it,
lead me down the path of truth,
so that the lies dont trap me in a hell bound booth,
let this house stand through the storm,
help me expect things out of the norm,
let my words be heard from far to near,
and soothe like honey to one's ear,
protect me from the bullet of my enemies,
dont let them take me lord please,
when im all alone,
please help me hold my own,
slow the clock, stop the time,
build a wall so that i wont cross the line,
let me led not follow,
and be full and not hollow,
before i die let me see,
all that life needs to be,
so when i know my time is done,
let me know my battle won
